Background & ContextThe Ethics and Forensic Services (EFS) Department in the City of Cape Town (City), under authorisation by the City Manager, inter alia, conducts ethics and forensic investigations with regard to alleged fraud, corruption or other related criminal activity, maladministration and/or negligence on the part of any employee, any municipal entity, agent, contractor, supplier or service provider to the City.
