Background & Context1. The Government of Malawi has been receiving support from the Global Fund and Gavi since 2003 and 2002, respectively. The Ministry of Health & Sanitation (MOH) serves as the public-sector Principal Recipient (PR) of the Global Fund and Gavi grants.
