Background & ContextThe KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport intends to maintain, calibrate and repair 14 provincial weighbridges. These weighbridges are 3.0 metre wide, 10.3m long single or 22m long both single and double deck weighbridges. They are located in all KwaZulu-Natal districts municipalities and play key roles in controlling overloading on the road infrastructure network.
